Creative Dance-3 and 4

A fantastic opportunity to introduce the fundamentals of dance to your child. Creative is a combination of ballet and jazz technique with a minor amount of gymnastics to add some fun. Your child will learn the basic techniques of these dance forms in a fun and creative environment while using their imagination.

Ballet-4.5 and up

Ballet is the underlying foundation for all dance technique. Your child will learn how to develop strength, increase flexibility and work on their core centre to strengthen their posture and balance. Ballet is a very disciplined style of dance that is a vital instrument recommended for all dancers.

Jazz-4.5 and up

Jazz is a fun paced style of dance that teaches children how to move at a quick speed. This discipline works on developing flexibility and muscle control, while stretching and completing exercises across the floor.

Tap-4.5 and up

Tap is almost best loved by all young students, for they get to make music with their feet. Children will learn how to create rhythm and sounds while working on their musicality. Tap also helps develops a child’s core stability.

Acro-4 and up

Acro is where your child will develop fantastic upper body strength while learning numerous gymnastic tricks. In this class a certified gymnastics coach will provide your child with the fundamentals of how to do a gymnastics floor routine.

Hip Hop-5 and up

Hip Hop is best known as video dancing. Children learn funky and cool dances in a very fast paced environment while having tons of fun. Your child gets to let loose while learning the latest moves seen in music videos.

Musical Theatre-6 and up

Musical Theatre is a fun filled class that lets every dancer explore their dramatic side. Your child will learn to be theatrical while lip synching to different songs from numerous musicals.

Lyrical-6 and up

Lyrical is one of the most expressive forms of dance today. Your child will learn how to tell a story through their movement of dance. Lyrical is a cross combination of ballet and jazz technique and it is recommended that dancers participate in both of these classes to assist their technique. Recommended to be enrolled in either a ballet or jazz class.

NEW Twinkle Stars Program-18 months to 3 A fun and imaginative class for dancers and parents to participate together. This class is designed to get the students to learn basic movements and rhythms, while feeling comfortable in a classroom setting.

Contemporary-8 and up

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and body through fluid dance movements. Contemporary dance stresses versatility and improvisation, unlike the strict, structured nature of ballet. Contemporary dancers focus on floor work, using gravity to pull them down to the floor.
